He performed with the group for multiple tours, including an international tour of Spain at many celebrated Universities and Music Conservatories. After deciding to move to Los Angeles, Michael completed his degree in Audio Engineering at the Los Angeles Recording School, leading him to take his music background and apply his skills as a composer for film. In 2014, Michael began his professional stage career in Los Angeles with Indie-Rock band Ghost Lit Kingdom. His work as a performer, composer, and recording artist has lead the group to multiple U.S. tours and major Los Angeles’ stages such at The Roxy, Troubadour, House of Blues, and The Hotel Café. Aside from his performance career, he has been working as music teacher and guitar instructor for the last six years. Beginning at the Extreme Drum and Guitar School (NY), Michael began instructing the art of the guitar to students of all ages and skill levels. Once relocating to southern California, Michael began educating homeless and at-risk youth at Covenant House California in the joys of learning an instrument. In addition to his teaching EDG and CHC, Michael serves as an educator in multiple guitar programs throughout the South Bay including after school
programs at Holy Trinity School, Nativity Torrance School, and First Lutheran School. Michael provides instruction to students of all backgrounds and experience levels on the basics of music theory, technique, and fretboard fundamentals. He’ll be teaching in the styles of rock, pop, jazz, country, classical with traditional songs and famous melodies.
